Long over due A*Corps photos

So yeah, i haven't had much free time with the Internet, but here are some super recent photos from our spike in Camden. I also have a bunch more (lots of flowers), but they're not on this computer... AND i have some 35mm prints of the beautiful Perry Point sunset i miss so much, which i will scan in when i'm home for Spring break in a month!!! Check it, word.

The peace walk we participated in started at our house in Camden, NJ. We walked over the Ben Franklin Bridge and into Philadelphia. It was organized by Brandywine Peace and The Sacred Heart of Camden- the famous Roman Catholic church that is fronted by Father Michael Doyle. A group of Buddhist monks were a major part of the peace walk, walking from MA to Camden, and eventutally ending the walk in D.C. on the anniversary of the first day of the Iraq War.

As we walked down decrepit Broadway, random people on the street would greet Father Doyle with the utmost respect and admiration. Everyone was thrilled to see him (or so it seemed). This is a shot between two old buildings. Most of the buildings here are falling apart and/or vacant.. a lot of them are condemned too.

These boys were with a local school. Heart of Camden took them out to experience the beginning of the peace walk. They couldn't walk with us the whole way because they had to get back to their books.

This is the interior of the Episocal church we are helping to convert into a Maritime Museum. We are staying in the Parish house here! My favorite part of the project so far is illustrated in this photo of Casey and Nick. We got to tear that shit down! Took out a couple rooms full of walls. Very good for stress/anger release. Lotsss of dust..

This is one of the butterflies in the butterfly house at the Camden Children's Garden, the other main project we are working on. I love the butterflies!!! That is all.
